Apps

I have created a couple of apps over the years as part of writing this blog:

WiFi Solver is a web app based on WebGPU that lets you simulate the WiFi signal strength in your house – read more about it here. WiFi Solver FDTD is an older Android app based on the same algorithm. Development on this app has been discontinued, but you can read about it here.

Shade calculator is a web-based tool to calculate the year-averaged shade coverage for your house. Read more about it in the accompanying blog post.

Coin flipper is an online experiment to see what fraction of coins land on their edge. Read more about it here.

WebGL fractals is an online tool to show Newton fractals. Read about it here.

MaTSlab is a small implementation of a Typescript version of Matlab. Read about it here.

3D signed distance fields is an experiment to construct the intersection of arbitrary extrusions using signed distance fields. Read more about it here.

Lens Lab – a Matlab app for simulating simple lens layouts. See the post here for more information.
